A little about Ottawa Valley Gift Baskets

Ottawa Valley Gift Baskets has over 25 years of combined experience in the gift basket and retail business.

In March 2014, I purchased Ottawa Valley Gift Baskets, an already-established local business. I saw it as an opportunity to create another source of income while continuing to do something I truly enjoy — being creative and providing personal customer service. Since taking over the business, I have introduced new basket designs, products and local food producers, while continuing to build on the strong foundation that was already in place.

One of the things I value most about Ottawa Valley Gift Baskets is the relationships I have built with local food producers and customers throughout the years. Approximately 90% of our business takes place within the Ottawa Valley, and I am proud to work closely with so many talented local producers and showcase their products in our gift baskets.

We feature and promote fine food items from the Ottawa Valley, including Balderson Cheese, Village Treats Chocolates, Mrs. McGarrigles, Michael's Dolce Confections, Top Shelf Preserves, Grandma's Pantry, The Mix Company and Snark Coffee, to name just a few. I am constantly exploring the marketplace for new and delicious treasures to add to our curated gourmet gift baskets.

Personally prepared with care

Every basket is personally selected, assembled and overseen by me. I personally check each and every basket that leaves my location because I want to make sure that what arrives at your door is something I would be proud to give myself.

I also work closely with customers who would like to customize a basket. Whether you have a particular product in mind, a special occasion to celebrate, or simply want to create something that is uniquely suited to the recipient, I am happy to work with you to make it happen.

And perhaps the best part of what I do is delivering the finished basket and seeing the joy on the recipient's face. That personal connection is one of the reasons I continue to love this business.
